Hope Under the Rain: The Renacer en Amor Foundation Brings Smiles

After so much rain in our city of Cartagena on November 2nd and 3rd, we were forced to postpone the much-anticipated American breakfast event for our beloved Golden Age group. However, this adversity did not stop us; it drove us to redirect our efforts toward the youngest members of our community.

In a gesture of solidarity and love, we decided to prepare and distribute snacks of hot chocolate and sandwiches to 300 children in Henequén, with the tireless collaboration of the Nueva Esperanza Foundation. Happiness was palpable in every corner, with smiles that shone brighter than the sun as the children joyfully enjoyed every bite.

Winter brings with it one of the saddest and most urgent problems: child hunger. Many parents, who depend on informal jobs, see their incomes reduced when the rain prevents their daily work. On those days, there is no money, and often, no food on the table.

The response was immediate. With hot chocolate and sandwiches, we not only alleviated these children's hunger but also delivered a message of hope and solidarity. Seeing their happy faces and enjoying every bite reminded us why we do what we do.

We want to extend our deepest gratitude to all the donors and collaborators who made this noble cause possible. Thank you for your constant support and for believing in the power of love and community to transform lives. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

This event, more than a food distribution, was a reminder of the resilience and generosity that characterizes our community. We will continue working, united under any weather, to ensure that every child and elderly person receives the love and support they deserve.Hope Under the Rain: The Renacer en Amor Foundation Brings Smiles
